Toshiba Machine Co. LTD is proudly displaying their newest ALL-Electric ECSXIII-50 ton LSM injection molding machine. The unique concept of using integrated high precision hot-runner control, allows the user to easily convert the LSM machine back to thermoplastic. Giving Toshiba customers more flexibility with less capital cost. The linear guided injection unit reduces resistance, producing a greater shot-to-shot consistency. A quick release barrel system allows for faster and easier cleaning of the barrel and screw.
M.R. Mold will demonstrate it's technology with a two-cavity LSR mold for a high beam automotive lens application, utilizing their Universal Base with a 1-drop Cold Runner. The exhibit will demonstrate how optically clear silicone can be molded in applications that plastics are incapable of doing.
Optical silicones from Dow Consumer Solutions not only offer excellent optical properties, they are more resistant to impact damage and degradation from UV, heat and environmental extremes. SILASTIC™ MS-1002's high light transmittance with low attenuation coefficient – combined with high Abbe number – enables lighting companies to design optics for luminaires with high lumen efficiency.
ELMET's TOP 5000P pumping unit boasts an open layout for easy access, automatic de-airing of the containers during drum changes, Smart Shot Control, a 12" touch screen, along with automated step-by-step drum change procedures, data acquisition capabilities and barcode scanning.
The Yushin FRA-015S-15-8.5-C1 take-out robot incorporates the most
innovative design technologies, making it more agile, smarter and
faster than previous models. The FRA is equipped with state-of-the-
art features including: Active Vibration Control, Arc Motion Control,
and Adaptive Motion Control. These features assist in making the
FRA achieve cycle times up to 10% faster than its predecessors.
Frigel Microgel™ RCM40/6 HP combination water cooled chiller and
6 kW temperature control zone. The unit includes a 3 hp scroll
compressor and 1.5 kW (2 hp) high pressure process pump,
nominally rated for 5 m3/hr (22 gpm) at 4.6 bar (66 psi).
Temperature set point range is from 7˚C (45˚) to 90˚C (194˚F).
