1ST PLACE AMBA EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH AWARD

On MFG Day 2019, M.R. Mold was awarded 1^st place in the AMBA Educational Outreach Award.  This award is given to 3 companies who work to engage young people in the manufacturing industry.  M.R. Mold has been actively involved in MFG Day since 2015 and have grown our student attendees from 30 to 350+.  M.R. Mold has offered internships the past 2 summers for high school students in our area.  This program has become a successful venture that will continue at M.R. Mold. In addition, M.R. Mold has mentored a 3^rd and 4^th grade classes at Lowell Magnet school in Brea.  Rick Finnie’s scholarship award relative to his Mold Builder of the Year award provided a Brea Jr. High industrial arts class with $5,000.

M.R. Mold was awarded 2^nd place in 2017.
